Crimm Core: plan your building upgrades

Overview

Crimm Core building upgrades become available after Manor level 30, around day 50 of a server's life. The system covers seven buildings: Manor, Alliance Center, Enlistment Hall, Medical Center, Fighter's Den, Rider Camp, and Gunner Range.

Each full Crimm Core level is split into five stages. Each stage uses one-fifth of the Crimm Cores needed for that full level, so you can plan progress stage by stage instead of treating the next level as a single purchase.

Pick an upgrade target

Prioritize the three troop-training buildings—Fighter's Den, Rider Camp, and Gunner Range—when troop strength is your main goal. Each Crimm Core level increases the power of the corresponding troops, and the third level adds an additional skill.

Use the Crimm Core Buildings calculator to compare the Core and resource costs of your selected buildings and stages before committing your stockpile. Check any prerequisites in the plan as well; a target building may require another building to advance first.

1. Check the building’s prerequisites. Your target may require another building to reach a particular stage.
2. Compare the total Crimm Core, Food, Lumber, Metal and Gas costs for your chosen stages.
3. Compare those costs with your available resources and check the construction time in the Android calculator.

Time your spending

Consider saving Crimm Cores and resources for several weeks, then making planned upgrades during a major scoring event such as SvS or Top Don. This can turn progress you already wanted into event points and additional rewards. Choose the buildings and stages in advance so you know what your savings will cover when the event begins.

Before using a saved stockpile, check the current SvS or Top Don tasks. If those tasks award points for the upgrades you intend to make, time your plan to that scoring window. Event tasks can vary: confirm what scores in the game rather than assuming every upgrade will earn points.
